Modern Spring Cleaning
The days are long gone when women put an apron on to protect their dresses while they did spring cleaning. Yes, women really did wear high heels around the house if they wanted to be the perfect housewife. I’m old enough to remember those days. (Actually, women wore high heels daily, because if they ever put on a pair of flat-heeled shoes, the muscles in their legs would be screaming in pain the next day. But I digress. . .)
